When we talk about being healthy, it includes our mental health also. In fact, there is no health without mental health. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social wellbeing.
Globally 1 billion people have a mental disorder and anyone, anywhere can be affected. Sadly, many people have negative attitudes and belief about people who have mental illness. This can lead to increased psychiatric symptoms, lower self esteem & quality of life and poorer recovery among people with mental illness.
Let's know that mental illness doesn't define a person's potential, with timely treatment, family support and rehabilitation, individual with mental illness can recover and lead a meaningful productive life.
